If you can get hold of the pulp and apply it straight to the affected area, you will get instant respite from the burn. You can also buy over-the-counter aloe vera gels that are also effective.

Mixing a couple of tablespoons of baking soda into a bathtub full of cool water is also helpful in beating sunburn, provided you immerse inside the tub for some time like for twenty minutes. Also, add a cup of oats to the bathtub to soothe the skin and condition it naturally.

Prolonged exposure to UV rays can damage your skin, and when such happens, you must consult with an accredited dermatologist. Photoaging is visible on the face, arms, neck, legs, and upper chest. It occurs in people with light skin complexion, with multiple moles, freckles, tanned skin, and uneven sun exposure. You will get spider veins, wrinkles, loss of suppleness, red scaly spots, lip lesions, white spots, and thin skin when photoaging occurs. This condition can only be treated by a dermatologist. After a detailed diagnosis of your existing skin condition, the skin experts will prescribe the right course of treatment. Hence, they can prescribe retinols, retinoids, Vitamin C, Alpha hydroxyl acid, skin lightening agents, laser skin resurfacing, photodynamic therapy, chemical peels, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, cryotherapy, and cosmetic or plastic surgery, based on the severity of the condition.

Prevention is much better than cure always remember that. So, circumvent going out between 12 and 4 pm as it is considered the peak hour for UV rays. Wear loose clothing and cover most parts of the body.
