Fair Field is a county seat of Wayne County, Illinois, United States. Fair Field is 51 miles NW of Evansville, Indiana and 105 miles E of St. Louis, Missouri. It is a great place to live, prosper and play.

1. Early History Museum
Located in a humidity-controlled room connected to the meeting room of the Fair Field Public Library, it houses the oldest and most fragile artifacts from the 1800’s through the 1902’s. It exhibits the Spanish-American way, Civil War, churches, schools, Sexton Factory, tools, clothing of that period and World War I.

2. Hanna House Museum
The Wayne County Historical Society (WCHS) took fourteen rooms in lease agreement from the city of Fair Field to exhibit the contemporary history from the 1930’s through to recent events. It exhibits military history, oil boom, country schools, civic memorabilia, medical items, sports, etc. This museum was originally a residence of the R.P and Clara Hanna family.

3. Lake Side Park
It offers recreation facilities like lighted tennis courts, baseball, and playground and picnic facilities to both locals as well as visitors.

4. Southwest Park
It is center to Fair field’s softball program. In addition to the ball diamonds, the park includes a concession stand, generous parking space, and serves as home to the community’s annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration.

5. Leo F French Memorial Park
It is a place or area set aside for recreation or preservation of a cultural or natural resource and under some government administration.

6. Cedar Hurst Center For The Arts
It has an area of 90-acre in southern Illinois. This center celebrates the arts year-round with exciting visual and performing arts program for the public. It is also a home to Kuenz Sculpture Park, the museum’s outdoor gallery with over 60 large-scale sculptures.
