Bel Air is a small city located in Harford County, in the U.S State of Maryland. The city is the center of Bel Air, Abingdon in Maryland Micropolitan Area. 1. Hays House
The Hays House is a historic home/museum. It is located at 324 south Kenmore Avenue in Bel Air, Harford County. The house was built in 1788 with a gambrel roof and renovated in 1811. Later it was again moderated in 1960 with a modern concrete block foundation. It got changed as the headquarters of the Historical Society of Harford County. This House was listed in National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
2. Liriodendron
Liriodendron is also a historic home located in Bel Air. The house comprises of a circa 1835 bank barn, a circa 1898 carriage house, a circa 1850 board-and-batten cottage. There are five other outbuildings including a corn crib, 2 ice houses, a smokehouse and a shed. Earlier, the Georgian style of Graybeal-kelly house, which was built in the year 1835 was the manor house for the farm until the Liriodendron mansion was constructed. This mansion/historic home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
3. Maryland Golf and Country Club
The Maryland Golf and Country Club is a place where you can see a number of family members are being offered by a first class private club experience. It is located in Harford County of Bel Air. The place/property where Maryland Golf and Country Clubs are located were originally owned by Baseball Hall of Farmer Lieutenant Colonel Leland, Larry Stanford MacPhail. The golfing, swimming, tennis and many more social memberships are provided along with recreation privileges to the members and the guests. It also offers social gatherings including religious celebrations, weddings, conference & business meetings for both members and non-members of the country club.
