What is an electric toothbrush?
An electric toothbrush is a truthbrush works based on working of a small electric motor as opposed to a manually operated toothbrush. An eldctric toothbrush is also known as power toothbrush.

2. Ultrasonic toothbrush
Ultrasonic toothbrush is the newest invention in this field. In an ultrasonic toothbrush, ultrasonic waves are used in cleaning teeth. Ultrasound waves generate up to 84 million air oscillations per minute, which helps break down germs on the teeth. It is very effective against bad breath.

Effectiveness
When compared to manual toothbrushes, power toothbrushes are more effective because they reduce the probability of getting plaque and gingivitis very fast and do the job in an effective manner.

If you brush your teeth using a manual toothbrush, the average strokes per minute is 300, but if you use an electric tooth brush it rotates 3,000 to 7,500 times per minute. And, if you use a sonic toothbrush it makes around 40,000 strokes per minute.

  • It also having pressure sensors which helps us by signaling when your brushing is too hard.

Although it is very important to brush your teeth two times per day like in morning and in the night before going to the bed. And floss once a day as your regular oral care routine.
