The historical society was built in the 1930’s and is known for collecting, researching, preserving the documents, photographs and artifacts that connects to Rancho Santa Fe to its past. The mission of the society is to educate people of the community.

6. Rancho Santa Fe Library
Rancho Santa Fe Library is a public library located in the center of the village. It serves the local residents by offering fiction books, magazines, reference texts and many more.

7. Rancho Riding Club
The Rancho Riding Club is located on 11 acres in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe. It was founded in the year 1946, and now the club features 6-horse free flow exerciser, bow stalls, hot water wash racks and cross ties. The club is a wonderful place to learn horse riding.
