It is a non-profit, voluntary organization hired by the State of New York to offer political, social and cultural history of Port Washington and of Long Island.

3. Polish American Museum
The museum is located at 16 Belleview Avenue in Port Washington, since 1977. The museum has artifacts related to the history of Poland and Polish American Community. It also exhibits old maps, folk art costumes, documents, historical artifacts and paintings of the people of Polish heritage in America and their contribution to the fields of art, science, education, medicine and political theory.

4. Bar Beach Park
Bar Beach is located on Long Island, in Port Washington. It is a place to relax and breathe fresh air. A lot of things can be done at the beach such as fishing, boating, water paddling and swimming. The beach is an amazing place to hang out with friends and family.

5. Sunset Park
