Marijuana also known as cannabis is the most commonly abused illegal drug in the United States. It is a dry, shredded green and brown mix of flowers, stems, seeds, and leaves derived from the hemp plant Cannabis sativa and active chemical present in marijuana is delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol ( THC). Signs and symptoms of the marijuana addiction are feeling sleepy, lack of concentration, inflammation in eyes, cravings for sweat and increased appetite.

Marijuana addiction treatment is very important because, if a person abuses marijuana it can bring a lot of physical and psychological changes in that person. There are many types of treatments available for treating the marijuana addicts.
